Who We Are:

We are UC Berkeley’s student-run Product Design team. We are a multidisciplinary group of undergraduate and graduate students drawn together by a love for innovation - that is, creativity applied. The goals of Berkeley Innovation as we continue semester to semester include: learning and applying creativity and brainstorming techniques, working in teams on design projects for real-world clients and contests, keeping up to date on the latest in the design and tech worlds, and learning the ins and outs of the design process–from client acquisition to product demoing and production.

Our alumni continue to innovate in places such as IDEO, Apple, Sony, Accenture and even the US Patent and Trademark Office.

New Site Features!

March 1, 2009 - We’ve begun a section called “Design 101″ to take the curious passerby through various aspects of the design process. The first entry, “Design Journals,” takes you through that oh-so-essential designer tool. Look forward to regular updates!

Berkeley Innovation would like to bring attention to our Better Bin group, who has been awarded a TGIF grant of $3,500 to develop and test market their comprehensive recycling/trash bin!
